Judith Neilly  RMT

Judith brings a complementary skill set to the Balance Integrated Health Care team. As an experienced massage therapist, with a specialty in Osteopathy, she effectively helps clients restore healthy body function by locating the stresses and strains of injuries, repetitive motions and dysfunctional patterns to help encourage natural healing.

Judith continues to apply a genuine holistic approach to her 19 years as a practicing RMT, understanding that all aspects of one’s life (lifestyle, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual) play a collaborative role in one’s health. Believing that while ‘no two people are alike, nor should a treatment’, she tailors and seamlessly integrates her generous repertoire of therapeutic techniques to satisfy the specific health needs of her clients. Some of these include; Cranio-sacral Therapies, Visceral Manipulation, Lymph Drainage, Post Isometric Relaxation, Strain-Counter-strain, Muscle Energy, Joint Mobilization.

Judith’s well-rounded experience and knowledge as a dynamic and caring therapist also affords her a gifted intuitive sense that allows her to gain insight into her clients’ health through massage and Osteopathy. As a result, she is able to help create awareness of existing and potential health issues while improving their well being via the customized treatment she is known so well for.

Clients in Judith’s practice range in age from newborns to seniors in their 90’s, all displaying a wide assortment of diverse health issues. Judith is a graduate from the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy (S.O.C.O.), an active member of The Society of Osteopaths of Canada (S.O.C.), and over the years, has taught anatomy to Yoga Teachers and Practitioners.

Etai Tintpulver  RMT

Etai's career in massage began in 2001 after taking a course in Swedish massage. His passion for bodywork grew and he underwent the registered massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. His training there integrated a variety of treatment modalities including connective tissue release, orthopedic manipulations and craniosacral therapy. Combining these modalities with Thai Massage, he offers a style which is deep while minimizing discomfort. His goal as a therapist is to help his clients manage pain by returning to structural balance and regaining freedom of movement. Etai has worked with people suffering from acute to chronic pain, stress, headaches, occupational strain and overuse injuries, runners and other athletic people, and those who have been in accidents or other traumas.

Onyx Uriarte  RMT, BFA

Onyx is a graduate (with honours) from Kikkawa College in Massage Therapy, and a long standing experienced therapist who integrates various healing modalities into her massage sessions. On her own healing journey Onyx became interested in learning more about the human energy field, which led her to an exploration of Reiki healing. In 1996 Onyx completed Reiki I/II along with a certification in Expressive Art Therapy from ISIS-Canada.

As an Expressive Art Therapist Onyx has grown both professionally and personally working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), autism and emotional/mental imbalances. Simultaneously with this work, Onyx studied for five years in Egyptian and Celtic healing traditions. Her repetoire of energy work has grown to also include Reconnective healing. To round out this energetic work Onyx may also apply her training in Thai Yoga Massage into sessions.

In 1998, Onyx began to include craniosacral therapy in her work and has since seen clients respond by receiving deep relaxation and new insights from the internal shifts made via their body's craniosacral system. Encouraged by the successful responses to craniosacral therapy, Onyx has continued to deepen her knowledge of craniosacral therapy, including craniosacral therapy for pediatrics. On many occasions, she has also teacher assisted for the Cranial Therapy Centre.
