Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps to correct imbalances in the entire body. This system consists of the membranes of the cranium (skull) as well as the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The motion of the craniosacral system is palpated for restrictions in movement. Abnormal motion can lead to stresses in the cranial mechanism which can contribute to dysfunction and poor health.
Craniosacral therapy is suitable for all ages, from newborns to the elderly and all ages in between. The patient remains fully clothed for the treatment and though the touch is light, the enhancement of the bodys self-healing mechanisms is profound. |
