Kazuki Ishikura Shiatsu Therapist
Having practiced traditional Japanese martial arts since childhood, Kazuki Ishikura has a deep understanding of the body, exercise, stretching, controlling Qi energy, and meditation.
Kazuki practices meridian-style Shiatsu, applying comfortable pressure to various points on the patient's body with his hands, thumbs and elbows. Each treatment is individualized according to your physical condition and symptoms. He also uses cupping and moxa to return his patients to a state of balance and energy.
Kazuki has studied Shiatsu in Japan, and is currently studying traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture at the Shiatsu School of Canada. He will be offering acupuncture treatments beginning in 2012.
Ashley Howe Couple & Family Therapy
Ashley Howe is: a clinical teacher and researcher; a practicing couple and family therapy clinician; a co-founding partner in Intentwell Inc- A positive psychology business; and the creator and owner of The Spa Date -- a spa treatment for couples which uses fun and entertaining questions meant to draw out only, and all, of the positive and celebratory aspects of a partnership.

Ashley holds a master's of science degree in couple and family therapy from the University of Guelph. She is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She did her honours undergraduate degree in psychology at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, and Brock University in Ontario. She also furthered her psychology studies abroad at Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.
Ashley has been a teacher in the field of psychology for over six years, including her experience teaching psycho-educational workshops and therapeutic groups on various parenting issues for Niagara Child and Youth Services in the Niagara region of Ontario. Ashley was also granted a Social Sciences and Research Council Award for her work in psychological research and her promise in research in the clinical field. She is a published author in academia, having published in both the Journal of Neuroscience Methods and the Journal of Cognition.
Early in her career, Ashley worked in psychological research, studying various aspects of brain cognition, before she turned her attention towards her passion for clinical work and helping others. She has been a long observer of behaviour and personality and is fascinated by the way we navigate and interact in our most prized relationships. Ashley has worked in various clinical agencies including helping individuals, couples, families and children. She is known for her more casual and positive, solution-based approach to therapy and is appreciated for her genuine interest and ability to connect with people in a joint quest for more resolve and happiness.

Dr. Nadia Lamanna ND
Dr. Nadia Lamanna is a general family medicine practitioner who works with patients of all ages and a wide variety of health concerns. She provides naturopathic medical care that focuses on addressing the root cause of disease and utilizes safe and effective natural therapies, including homeopathy, clinical nutrition and supplementation, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling and hydrotherapy. Nadia has a special interest in gastroenterology, endocrinology, immunology and women’s health and has additional training in facial rejuvenation cosmetic acupuncture, advanced herbal medicine and reiki. Nadia is a passionate individual whose primary goal is to provide her patients with optimal health care by identifying and catering to the individual needs of her patients. She is dedicated to empower, inspire and motivate you along your healing journey to achieve the highest state of mental, physical and spiritual health and wellness.
Nadia completed a four-year Honours Bachelor of Science degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in biology and psychology, and minoring in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and achieved designation of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) in 2010. She completed a twelve-month internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Health Clinic as well as at the Sherbourne Health Centre, where she provided naturopathic treatment and support for HIV/AIDS patients. Nadia traveled to India in 2002 to study under renowned homeopathic doctors including Rajan Sankaran and Divya Chhabra. Nadia is a dedicated member of the health care profession and is eager to continuously enhance and broaden her scope of knowledge. Nadia is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Ryan Burnham RMT
Ryan is a recent graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. He is currently pursuing his Can-Fit-Pro personal training certification, to better advise his clients and help them achieve their wellness goals.
Ryan is skilled in sports massage techniques, Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, hydrotherapy modalities, joint mobilization and manual lymph drainage.
An avid fitness and health enthusiast, Ryan is a strong advocate of the holistic approach to wellness. He works closely with his clients to achieve an optimal state of wellbeing.
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is Japanese for "finger pressure" and consists of finger and palm pressure, stretches, and other massage techniques. Shiatsu therapists treat not only muscular aches and pains, but also headaches, insomnia, digestive issues and emotional stress. The client is usually fully clothed, and either lays on a massage table, or on a floor mat.
Shiatsu therapy is effective in the management of many acute and chronic conditions including:
