Melissa Zaichick
My name is Melissa Zaichick and I have been in the healing arts business since 2003. I hold a certification of Reflexology as well as Reiki. In addition, I have full working knowledge of Swedish massage and continue to study various forms of Eastern holistic therapy. My background in the field of dentistry, as a dental assistant and treatment co-ordinator, has allowed my medical intuition to grow and has endowed me with a sense of perception and understanding which has greatly contributed to my patient’s care and well-being.
With my father in the painful last stages of metastasized cancer, I applied "touch therapy" to help ease his discomfort. Before then he had not been receptive to therapeutic touch. Shortly thereafter he began to call out for me to help him manage his pain. He told me I had a calling - and it was then that I made my decision to begin a career in the healing arts.
My beautiful father is now gone - but he gave me a new journey to forge ahead with. It is an honour to offer these wonderful and respected therapies to those who desire a sense of peaceful balance, rejuvenation and the ability to just "be".
