Eloisa Weber-SlimmonI fell in love with the art of movement while studying acting, modern dance, and physical theatre at George Brown Theatre School, and during my Pilates training with Rikki Richter, director of Mind the Body Studio. She taught me that how we move plays an integral part in our lives. For over a decade I have been actively practicing Pilates and Yoga. My Pilates training and certification was through the Physical Mind Institute, under the tutelage of Susan Grescovich at Body Harmonics. I deepened my yoga practice interning with Diane Bruni and Ron Reid at Downward Dog Studio, then became a certified Yoga instructor with Susie Dias of East to West Yoga Studio. My Pre and Post Natal certification was with Skylar Hill-Jackson, founder of Baby And Me Fitness, who hired me to teach Pre and Post Natal Yoga, Pilates, and Fit classes. Opening Liberty Movement Studio has given me the opportunity to extend the grace and comfort of Yoga and Pilates to adults and children alike. People who take a proactive role in their well-being go through a profound transformation. My wish is to provide students of Yoga or Pilates with more then a stretch class, but an opportunity to play, explore, discover and connect with themselves at the deepest level. I continue to deepen my practice and my knowledge of Yoga and Pilates studying new forms of bodywork and movement, while teaching and sharing my love of the practice with others. Namaste, Eloisa Weber-Slimmon Studio Director
